„Step outside of everyday live….create”

Hi, my name is Dorota , all my friends call me “Doro”. I grew up in Poland in a small town, Lubiaz surrounded by nature and history. My favorite place close to my house was the interesting garden.

I remember the touch of the sandy, warm soil in the summer…I was sitting there under quite high field of flowers. I didn’t know the type of it in this time. The only think that I cared about at this time were the amazing butterflies and the other insects humming above. Of course it was funny to hide from my old grandma, and play with her in the garden…

I grew up, then I started to think more seriously about my life, and what I should do with myself. I loved nature and green stuff, so I decide to study Agricultural Sciences. I complete my studies in1998.

In the same year 1998, my live took me to Germany…Here I felt in love with beautiful landscaping and flower shops. After attending my internship in one of them, I decided to change my career and enroll to the Professional Floral Design School in October 2000.

I complete my degree in Floral Designing in Summer 2002. Thanks to my best teachers and masters: Heike Fleischmann and Uschi Voigts- flower design become my passion, love, dream for my entire live.

During the past years I became freelancing designer and work for shops in Germany and USA. I started to teach Flower Design in Washtenaw Community College in 2005 and supply my services in different places for private and commercial customers.

I believe that my childhood garden marked my inside, and left a deep love to flowers. Those flowers where Cosmos bipinnatus and they are still my favorite…
